Job summary

The Red Hat sales team is seeking a Lead Generation Representative who speaks Russian or German to join our lead management team in Farnborough, UK. This team is responsible for ensuring our excellence in lead generation, qualification, and development. In this role, you will assist the sales team by identifying and following up with potential Red Hat customers by qualifying incoming calls, emails, and inquiries about Red Hat products and services in your assigned region. You'll need excellent communication skills and advanced knowledge of consultative sales techniques in order to successfully qualify incoming leads to expand our Red Hat customer base.

Primary job responsibilities
  • Qualify incoming calls, e-mails, and inquiries
  • Ensure that outbound activity aligns with the determined targets and objectives
  • Work in collaboration with the regional marketing team to produce the best results from each marketing activity
  • Use concise messaging to target a variety of industry verticals and contacts
  • Apply consultative sales techniques to qualify incoming leads
  • Use effective pipeline management methods to maintain an accurate and updated pipeline
  • Forecast and adjust activity and behavior based on pipeline coverage
  • Offer regular and ad hoc business reports and feedback to sales, marketing, and other senior management
  • Provide visibility to direct-line managers and other senior management on successes
  • Work against pre-defined quarterly lead qualifications, conversions, and revenue targets
  • Identify cross and up-sell opportunities for Red Hat
  • Ensure that CRM systems are maintained and updated
  • Represent Red Hat to the customer and the customer to Red Hat in sales-related matters
Required skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and either Polish or Russian
  • Advanced knowledge of sales cycles within an IT organization
  • Experience with internal account management and managing outbound activities
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and an ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and successes throughout the business
  • Willingness and desire to build your career, progress, and learn in a successful software organization
  • Understanding of consultative sales techniques such as solution selling is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or a technical degree are preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
